FROM PASTOR JAY
Solid Rock family,
We have all heard and read about the increase in COVID-19 in varying states across the country. Unfortunately, cases in Muscogee County are also on the rise. The CDC is reporting that the largest increase of this menacing disease is among the 18-29 years old age group. Needless to say, all of us must remain careful, vigilant and safe in these very strange days we are living in.
As pastor of Solid Rock Church, my great concern is for the health of our church family and particularly for those who are most vulnerable among us - those who are older and already have health related challenges. Would you allow me to encourage you, during these days when COVID-19 is on the rise, to watch our services online? As much as I would love to see you and look into your eyes, I would much prefer you to optimize your health by reducing your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
As I have said all along, whether you are with us in the auditorium or with us in your living room,
we are still one church gathered in the Spirit. You can join with us by going to our website: solidrock.com; youtube.com (search for Solid Rock Church GA) or view the worship experiences on our church Facebook page.
We are very conscientious in trying to produce excellent content delivered to you in high definition quality. We believe excellence honors God, is befitting of the Gospel and is in keeping with Solid Rock. Afterall, excellence is the Solid Rock way.
For those who will join us in person and on campus, may I encourage you to continue practicing social distancing, hand washing and by all means, wearing a mask if you are comfortable in doing so. We have masks available at the welcome center or any one of our hosts will be pleased to provide one for you.
There are many things I don't know but one thing for which I am certain: the Lord is leading us through this season of challenge; He will protect, provide and prosper us as we seek to love and serve Him regardless of all that is going on around us.
Let me assure you our Leadership Team (Scotty Scott, Tony Woodard, Bobby Holland, Ralph Gantt, Devin James, Andy Cottle, Brannon Wilkinson and our pastoral team) are praying for you. You are on our minds and in our hearts.
See you Sunday either in person or online – 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
I love you church family.
