LEARN ABOUT OUR MINISTRIES
From Adults to Kids and everything between, we have a ministry
for you to be involved in at Solid Rock.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE
Wednesday Night Service takes place every Wednesday Night in our main sanctuary from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This is a time of worship and teaching from the Bible. It’s a relaxed environment where you can easily introduce yourself to other people and form new friendships. Services also happen for infants through 12th graders simultaneously.
Because of Jesus we are family! Solid Rock Youth exist to help teenagers in grades 6th-12th form a lasting relationship with God through a strong foundation in His word and through community. We offer an amazing worship experience catered to our students, by our students. We also have an awesome group of leaders that help show the love of Christ through our small groups and fun events. It is our goal to develop the next generation to walk boldly in the calling that God has placed on their lives.
WORSHIP & CREATIVE ARTS
Solid Rock is a church that loves to worship God using great music, visual media, and other creative components. We desire to bring worship into the house of God from pure hearts with creativity and excellence through the following artistic gifts of our people.
SOLID ROCK KIDS
We minister to children from birth to 5th grade. We have a check-in process to ensure the safety of each child, this happens at our Kids Registration area right outside our Nursery. From there you can take your child straight into the Nursery or use our stairs/elevator to take the 1st-5th Graders upstairs. Our lessons and activities are interactive, allowing the children to have fun and yet learn age appropriate lessons from God’s Word that can impact them for years to come. Our 5th and 6th graders are encouraged to serve, teaching them the value of serving in God’s House.
All of our volunteers are screened and have a passion to see children’s lives changed by the Gospel.
Outside our church services, our program includes, fun dress-up days, Kids Camp, VBS, Parent’s Night Out and other family events. We would love to meet your kids and help point them to their Savior Jesus Christ!
Definition of “prime-timer”: 1) a person who appreciates good friends and good food, 2) a person over the age of 55, and 3) a person who still has some get-up-and-go. If you fit these descriptions, then you’ll find yourself at home during any Prime-timers event that we host throughout the year. Whether it’s a get-together around food, or it’s a road trip on the bus, there’s plenty of fun left to be had. Join us for friends, food and fellowship!
SOLID ROCK WOMEN
Solid Rock Women’s ministry is based on the model found in Titus 2. It is a place for the younger women to anticipate aging into and the older women never age out. Each month there are opportunities to gather for Bible Study, fellowship, and/or ministry events. For more information visit our Solid Rock Women Facebook page.
Life Track is our assimilation network which helps you discover who we are, where were going and how you can get plugged in. See our Life Track Tab for detailed information.
OASIS AFTER SCHOOL
Oasis is no ordinary After School Program! We pride ourselves in offering each child an environment where they can be themselves and their unique creativity is free to flow. We do everything we can to make sure that your child’s imagination will thrive in everyday games, drama, creative writing, art, and many other electives.
Life Groups are the main artery to which we journey life together. We follow a semester schedule which is February through May and September through December. Our registration months are August and January and our off months are June through July. We have a plethora of Life Groups to select from. We have Interest Groups such as motorcycling and jogging, while we also have bible studies and topical studies. Life Groups are our support groups and our discipleship growth paths.
